Kikker ( Frog )

Max Velthuijs created his renowned Kikker ( Frog ) character in the eighties of the last century.

With the production of each new book title Max Velthuijs went through great efforts to make each one 100% to his liking, both in text as in artwork. Many times Max Velthuijs started all over again if drawings were not as he envisaged them. This was one of the reasons why it took Max Velthuijs sometimes more than over a year to finish a book. However, over the years, more than 1 million of his books were sold.

Between 2006 and 2008 the succesful animation series Kikker & Vriendjes ( Frog & Friends ) was developed. This started off the international career of Kikker ( Frog ). Based on this TV-series a contemporary merchandising and licensing program was developed for the international market.
